The story told from the point of view of former soldiers on the lam after robberies and that of law enforcement tracking them. Bad grammar intentional dialect and poor editing. Despite poor choice of changes to first person the story holds the reader’s attention. Shifts from the Vets to Law enforcement and the past in Iraq can be confusing. What comes through to this reader most clearly is the futility and waste that war represents and the lasting damage it does to the individuals who wage it.
